John Flanagan Trio Play in Seymour

Published by administrator on

Blue Tongue Berries hosted their first ‘Gig Day’ on Sunday May 27,  the John Flanagan Trio played a sold out show in Seymour as part of the bands Honest Man album tour.

The day began in the Cantina at Blue Tongue Berries in Seymour with owners Cynthia and Nick hosting a mid-day long lunch curated by local Chef Jonathon Mackeson who produced a deliciously seasonal 5-course lunch with each course paired with local wine from Box Grove Vineyard.

The trio are independent folk and country singer/song writers from Melbourne with members John Flanagan on vocals, guitar and banjo, Daniel Watkins on the mandolin, guitar and vocals, and Liz Frencham on double bass and vocals.

Cynthia and Nick were thrilled with how the long lunch and gig was received by guests and are planning on hosting more gigs at Blue Tongue Berries and Seymour locals can’t wait.

See below for a gallery of the long lunch and gig day.
